Clear pricing, no surprises
Fees are broken down into transparent components. You see exactly how much goes to the issuing bank, how much to the card scheme and how much to us.
IC++ model
Interchange + scheme fee + 0.79% margin. Three lines you can verify.
No monthly subscription
You pay only for processed transactions. No volume, no percentage.
No long-term contract
There is no minimum volume and no termination penalty.

Used to calculate the €0.05 fixed fee per transaction.
This is an indicative estimate assuming an average interchange of 0.30% for EEA consumer cards. Your actual cost depends on the card mix, volume and business profile.

Every card transaction has three components. Blended pricing hides them in a single percentage. IC++ shows each one separately.
Interchange
Goes to the bank that issued the customer's card. It is regulated in the EU and depends on the card type: debit, credit, business.
Scheme fee
Goes to Visa or Mastercard for the use of their network. Typically between 0.02% and 0.10%.
BulPays margin
0.79% plus a €0.05 fixed fee. This is the only component that is ours and it is the same for every transaction.
BulPays fees
Beyond the per-transaction percentage, these are all the remaining fees. There are no others.

Pricing questions
What does IC++ pricing mean?
IC++ means you see all three components separately: the interchange fee to the issuing bank, the scheme fee to Visa or Mastercard, and our 0.79% margin. With blended pricing everything is hidden in one percentage and you cannot tell what you are actually paying.
When do I receive my money?
Settlement reaches your company account within 48 business hours of the transaction. For certain profiles T+0, same business day, is also possible.
Do you work with high-risk businesses?
Yes. We review each case individually and offer solutions for sectors that standard banks decline. Terms depend on the risk profile, chargeback history and volume.
Can I migrate from another provider?
Yes. We help transfer your tokenised cards so you do not lose your subscriptions, and we handle the technical integration. A migration usually takes between 3 and 10 days.
Why a blended rate looks cheaper and rarely is
A quoted 1.5% for everything sounds simpler than 0.79% plus interchange plus scheme fee plus 0.05 euro. The problem is that the second is the whole price while the first is a price with a hidden buffer.
A provider quoting one percentage has to cover with it both a local debit card, where interchange is around 0.20%, and an American corporate card, where it is several times more. To avoid losing, they set an average with a reserve. If your customers pay mostly with cheap cards, you are paying for expensive ones you have never seen.
The check is simple. Take last month's statement and see whether you can split the charge into components. If you cannot, you do not know how much of what you paid was necessary.
How to work out whether it is worth it
You need three numbers, and you already have them.
Monthly card turnover. Average transaction size. And a breakdown of what cards your customers use, visible in your current panel or obtainable from your provider.
With those the arithmetic is direct. Transaction count is turnover divided by average value. Your price with us is turnover times 0.79%, plus turnover times the approximate interchange for your mix, plus transaction count times 0.05 euro. The calculator above does exactly that with assumed averages.
If the gap against your current bill is under a few percent, switching for price alone is not worth it. If it is substantial, it is. We say so either way.
What else is in the cost besides the percentage
What a provider costs is not only the rate but what working with them costs you.
Time spent reconciling at month end. One report against three. Assembling numbers by hand against an export.
Sales lost to declines. A provider that shows the raw decline code lets you recover some of them. One that shows only payment failed does not.
Administrative work on disputes. Help assembling the evidence against digging through scheme rules yourself.
Money held up. A week's difference in settlement at serious volume is real cash flow, which you pay for in another way.
Questions about this
Is there a better rate at higher volume?
The margin is the same for everyone. What changes with volume is the weight of interchange in your total, because that depends on card types rather than on your size.
When is the gateway fee waived?
Once your fees for the month exceed 15 euro. With ordinary trading that happens quickly, so in practice only very low-volume accounts pay it.
Do I pay anything if I process nothing?
Only the gateway fee, if other fees have not already covered it. There is no monthly minimum and no account maintenance fee.
What does refunding a customer cost?
The refund itself carries no fee. Fees already taken on the original transaction are not returned, because the processing has already happened.
